What started off with a couple of Swedish friends with a big idea, has become a global phenomenon. We’ve been spreading happiness and colour across every continent through our never-before-worn designs, inspired by everything from art, fashion, and pop culture to your beloved pet, your grandma’s hair, and the humble yet mighty hamburger.

As of the first quarter of 2025, Happy Socks now exclusively uses more sustainably sourced cotton.

Our first goal focuses on cotton since it is the main material that we use, due to its great qualities and durability. Unfortunately, completely sustainable cotton doesn’t exist, but there are more sustainable cotton options. The cotton considered to be more sustainable has a certification such as certified organic cotton (OCS) and recycled cotton (RCS), or cotton with the Better Cotton trademark.
